    How long has SaveOnMyAlarm.com been in business? SaveOnMyAlarm is part of a family of security related businesses that have been providing services since 1968.  While the internet dot com providers are new, you can rest assured that our brick and mortar beginnings will keep us around for years to come. 

    What is your contract term?
    With our standard monitoring services we don't require contract terms.  You simply pre-pay for your service at our extremely low rate.  We do offer several optional or promotional rates that do require a term commitment and upon expiration of the pre-paid term, your service will continue on our month to month rate until you either cancel services, agree to a new pre-paid monitoring term.

    What if I don't have an alarm system can you set up a new alarm system for me?

    YES! SaveOnMyAlarm.com  offers complete self-installed or Professionally installed systems.


    How do you switch my existing alarm panel to your center?

    If your system is presently working and monitored elsewhere, a simple plug and play module called a Digital Diverter is sent to you.  It plugs into your phone system and will re-direct the alarm signal from your old alarm center to the SaveOnMyAlarm 24 hour monitoring center. 

    If you system is presently NOT working, or you do not have the ON/OFF codes to use the system, your system will have to be reprogrammed to be monitored.  Our National Phone Service technicians will reprogram your system using flash download technology right over the telephone. 


    What if it was never monitored before? We have technicians that can program your system from start using flash download technology right over the telephone.

    Is there a connection or set-up fee?

    SaveOnMyAlarm charges a one time set-up fee for monitoring only services based on they type of connection required.


    What systems can SaveOnMyAlarm monitor? SaveOnMyAlarm can monitor ANY SYSTEM installed by ANY COMPANY, ANYWHERE.

    What if I need repair or want to add devices? SaveOnMyAlarm can service your system as well as add additional products once the existing system is switched into the SaveOnMyAlarm center.  Simply contact our 24 hour service and repair department for a service order. 

    How long does it take to switch to SaveOnMyAlarm? SaveOnMyAlarm can have your system switched in as little as 24 hours once we receive your order. 

    When should I cancel my existing alarm monitoring service? Once we have notified you that the service has been switched into the SaveOnMyAlarm center. 

    What if the existing contract for service is not over? SaveOnMyAlarm does not endorse the breaking of any agreement.  However, if you are not receiving the level of service contracted for, you may have grounds for cancellation.

    Does SaveOnMyAlarm charge me for false alarms? Absolutely not.  Your paying for a service and we will provide it regardless of how many times your alarm goes off. 

    Is there a permit or license required for monitoring? Each county or city has different requirements. We suggest contacting your local police department to verify if one is necessary.  

    Where can SaveOnMyAlarm provide service? SaveOnMyAlarm can provide service anywhere in the United States, including Alaska, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, Guam and Canada. 

    Will I receive an Insurance Discount? SaveOnMyAlarm can provide you with a certificate that will notify your insurance carrier to extend any possible discounts based upon 24 hour monitoring of your alarm.
